• Not The Tokyo Marathon efforts on the 1st included Colin Hickey running a PB! of 2:56:19 at the Matsudo Marathon, Stan Chow running 2:47:44 on the Arakawa and Roger Berman running about 6 hrs on the Tamagawa. (Emmanuel Obser had run 2:55:12 the day before, as posted last month.)
• The LA Marathon was held on the 8th, one of the few races anywhere to not be cancelled. Ryudo Tsukizaki was there and did great, finishing in 2:39:15, winning his age group and coming in 20th overall!!
• The Biwa-ko Marathon was also held, but only with elite and semi-elite runners. 45-year-old Takayuki Nagae ran a fantastic race, recording a time of 2:29:41. Well done!!
• And Badass Coach Harrisson Uk ran a marathon on March 15…on a track! (He wanted the correct distance.) That’s 105.5 laps. I guess someone was counting…probably his poor wife. Seven of the Badass group came out to support him and he finished in 2:45:17! Pretty amazing….
