Many Nambanners participated in the Kanagawa Half and 10km on Feb. 2nd under beautiful sunny skies and 10c temperatures.
Gary Wilberforce came in second (by 4 seconds!) in the Men’s open 10km category with a time of 31:37 and also got his PB!
Ryudo Tsukizaki blasted the half in 1:21:31.
Mike Trees ran 1:15:55 (1:15:47 net) for 84th in Rikuren and that would have been enough to win the men’s 50s category!
Emmanuel Obser continued his PB streak with 1:21:33, PB by over 2min, #21 in 40-50 AG.
Takeshi Koide also renewed his PB to 1:21:05.
Renaud Isman took 4th place in Men’s 50 with a time of 1:23 (1:22:01 net) for a new PB.
Yuichi Kanamori took 1:28:16 for 261 in the rikuren race.
Arnaud de Herrypon came in 6th in the 10K Men’s 50s category with a time of 38:29.
Kim Dumont took 4th Open Women’s with 1:34:46 (1:33:43 net).
Rie Onodera did the half in 1:35:21 for 6th in her age group.
Yasuo Hayakawa did 1:40:02 for his third best PB.
Yuri Kanbara did 1:43:53 for 61st in the rikuren women’s race.
Mika Kume nailed 1:47:43 and 76th rikuren registered women’s.
Dan Hewins did the race as a training run in 1:54:04.
Glenn Rubin completed the half in 1:56:03 (injured)

Afterwards, almost all the racers and supporters enjoyed some celebratory beverages at the nearby Full Monty. It was a fantastic day out!
